Randy Flemming: Master Grower
Randy Flemming is well-known and well-respected within the cannabis subculture of Canada. Prior to being the master grower for one of Canada’s only organic medicinal cannabis grow operations, Organigram, Randy had been a recreational researcher of cannabis working towards better understanding the plant at all stages within its life cycle. Affectionately known as the “pot whisperer”, Randy now serves as horticultural consultant with American Cannabis Consulting, where he continues to share innovative techniques helping producers to dramatically increase yields.
The over 25 years’ experience that Randy brings to his clients covers all aspects of cannabis growing from breeding to pruning to trellising to grow room design. Knowledgeable in organic production techniques, Randy is comfortable using biological control for pests, but relies most heavily on a proactive management approach ensuring adequate fertility, temperature, and humidity as best practices to avoid disease and insects. Randy brings a commitment to growing the healthiest plant possible to both optimize the prized medicinal properties as well as recognizing that the end-consumer is wanting something that is life-giving.
